Bivorst Jolablot

The Norwegian name for Christmas, “jul”, originates from the ancient norse “jol” or “jolablot”. This was an old celebration where the Vikings sacrificed in honour of the Midwinter’s day, January 12. We celebrate today’s midwinter with this handcrafted Aquavit, containing Arctic cloudberries and lingonberries. Matured in sherry casks and carefully stored for one year in old NATO bunkers..
